3. You have to right click on the newly created key and rename it to Explorer.

4. Right click on the empty screen and select New > DWORD (32-bit) value to create a new DWORD value.

5. Now, you have to name the value created and you could write it as NoRun.

6. Double click on it, change the value data of 0 a 1, and then click the OK button to save the changes. 💾

Now, you need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. 🔄

How to disable the RUN command in Windows 10 using Group Policy

In this method, we are going to use the Group Policy editor to disable the RUN command box in Windows 10. To do so, follow the steps below. 📋

1. First, press the keys WIN+R together. Then, in the RUN command box, I typed gpedit.msc and press Enter.

2. The previous command will open the Group Policy Editor in Windows. There, you have to navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar. Double-click on the policy Remove the RUN menu from the boot menu.

3. You'll now see a window like this. You need to set the policy to Enable and click OK.

The policy will take effect without needing to restart your computer. However, you will see an error message when you try to access the RUN command. ⚠️
