3. Now, open your browser bookmark and go to Gmail.com.

4. Next, click the compose button and type a new email. At the bottom of the New Message window, click the compose icon. Attach files, as shown below.

5. Now, you have to Attach the ZIP file you created. Once this is done, click on the button Send.

The recipient will need to extract the ZIP file to access the folders.

If you use Gmail from your Android device, you need to follow this method to attach a folder that is saved on your phone. Here are some simple steps that you need to follow. 📱📧

Note: Most of the Android devices come with a built-in file compressor. However, if you don't find the Compress option, you can use third party file compression apps for android.

1. First, select the folder that you want to attach and touch the three points that appear below.

2. Then, touch the option Compress to compress the folder into a file ZIP.

3. Once compressed, I opened the Gmail app for Android and compose an email.

4. Then, touch the attach icon, as shown below.

5. Now select the option Attach file and choose the ZIP file you just created.

6. After making changes, tap the button Send.

The recipient will need to extract the ZIP file to access the folders.

How to send a folder by email without compressing it?

There are different ways to attach a folder to an email. A method is to convert the folder into a file ZIP or RAR and then send it as an email in Gmail.
