Not Registered on the Network: 12 Quick Ways to Fix It Now 📶⚡

If you have a Samsung device and are receiving the error message 'Not Registered on the Network,' don't panic! 😱 This problem can be fixed; you just need to follow some basic troubleshooting methods.

Why do I get the error 'Not Registered on the Network'?

The "Not Registered on Network" error can appear for several reasons. But it's mainly related to your phone not being able to connect to your network provider. 📶

If the error appears for the first time, try restarting your phone. However, if it occurs repeatedly, you should follow some basic troubleshooting steps we're sharing. 🔧

Since the error message doesn't reveal any specific reasons, you'll have to try different troubleshooting methods to resolve it. Here are some of the best ways to fix the "Not Registered on Network" error on Android.

1. Turn Airplane Mode on and off

Disable Airplane Mode

If you just encountered the error message, turn Airplane Mode on and then off.

This is a classic solution for Android users to deal with network issues. 🙌 It usually resolves connection issues without requiring any advanced steps.

To turn Airplane Mode on Android, swipe down from the notifications window and tap the Airplane Mode icon. Activating Airplane Mode will immediately disconnect all network connections.

Once enabled, tap the Airplane Mode icon again to disable the feature and restore network connections.

2. Restart your Android device

Restart your phone

If the Airplane Mode method didn't work, the next thing you can do is restart your smartphone.

Restarting is a good idea, especially if you haven't restarted your phone in a while. This will free up all background processes and free up RAM.

It will also eliminate bugs and errors that may be interfering with network services. To restart your Android device, press and hold the power button and select "Restart."

3. Make sure the SIM card is activated

Although a SIM card is activated in just a few hours or days these days, sometimes the activation process can take longer.

The "Not Registered on Network" error simply means that your phone number hasn't been registered yet. So, before trying the following methods, make sure your SIM card is activated.

You can contact your service provider using another number and ask about the activation status. If the SIM isn't activated yet, you'll have to wait a little longer.

4. Reinsert your SIM card

Reinsert your SIM card

If your SIM card is activated but you're still receiving the "Not Registered on Network" message, it's time to check if the SIM card is inserted correctly.

Your phone may not be able to read the SIM card because it's not inserted correctly. Therefore, you need to eject the SIM tray and reinsert the SIM card correctly.

5. Select the network manually

Due to weak signals, our phones automatically switch signals. During this time, if the phone fails to connect to the network, it displays errors. ⚡

Your phone may not be able to select a network automatically. Therefore, it's best to select your network mode to troubleshoot the problem manually.

1. Open the Settings app on your Android. Now scroll down and tap on Mobile networks.

If your SIM card works fine on other phones, check your phone's hardware. On the other hand, if it doesn't work on other smartphones, the SIM card hasn't been activated yet.

12. Contact your Network Service Provider

If your SIM card doesn't work in any smartphone and you've tried all the methods we've shared, you need to contact your network service provider. 📞

You should call your network service provider and explain the entire problem. Tell them about the error message and the troubleshooting steps you followed.
