Accessing Prince Charming's garage is very useful, as it permanently unlocks the West Door Path, allowing you to access new exterior rooms. However, to do so, you also need access to the Utility Closet (electrical panel room), as the disabled electronic door button in the garage prevents you from leaving. In addition to being an exit to the estate grounds, the garage offers a couple of additional opportunities to collect items and resources. This means that the garage in Prince Charming is a deceptively tricky room, so I'll explain all about it below. 🚪✨
How to open the garage door in Prince Charming

Opening the garage door is fairly simple, but you'll need to have unlocked the Utility Closet or wait to do so later in your playthrough. With the garage door open, you can access the West Door, so here's how to do both:
Go to the utility closet and flip the garage switch on the circuit breaker control panel to “ON.”
Return to the garage and press the black button on the garage door. which is immediately to the left to open the door.

Go down the path and then turn left and continue along the path. Cross the stream and continue forward, keeping to the left.
Unlock the West Door leading back to the grounds in front of the mansion.
You have now permanently unlocked the western portion of the estate grounds. At the start of a game, you can exit and go through the door you unlocked to access an exterior room, which can be a Hovel, Shelter, Toolshed, or Trading Post, among other options. All of these rooms offer a convenient early adventure bonus, so it's worth trying to unlock one before you begin properly exploring the estate. However, the plank across the stream is not in place at the start of the game, so you can't use it as a shortcut to enter the mansion from the west wing.
Importantly, the garage also has two looting opportunities: 🗝️
3 Keys: Upon entering the garage, turn right and you'll see three keys hanging on hooks on the wall. You can use these keys to unlock doors and chests.
Car storage box: This box on the back of the old car can only be opened with Car Keys, but it will contain a useful item that will help you on your adventure.
The garage in Prince Charming is worth unlocking for the aforementioned rewards, but be aware that it's exclusive to the west wing of the property, meaning you'll need to explore along the leftmost column if you want the best chance of making it your own; it's also classified as "unusual" in rarity, making it one of the rarest rooms.
