Bjorn: Cybersecurity Tamagotchi with Raspberry Pi.

Bjorn is a Tamagotchi-like network penetration testing tool powered by Raspberry Pi.

All Raspberry Pi models are incredibly useful gadgets, and a lot of fun too! No one seems to understand this better than Infinition, who has created a really cool project called BjornThis brilliant creation serves as a useful network tool for penetration testing (pen testing), but also becomes a fun experience thanks to its game-like user interface. 🎮

Bjorn is an evaluation system of networks in full rule, and it is also the name of the little Viking character that appears on the screen. While you perform certain tasks, he has different graphics that correspond to the functions. Furthermore, Bjorn it levels up as you continue using the system, depending on what you do. 🌟

Aside from its Tamagotchi-like user interface, it's been programmed with a handful of useful features. You can use Bjorn to scan networks for open ports and check for vulnerabilities. It can also carry out brute force attacks on multiple protocols like FTP, SSH, etc. Bjorn can even loot networks and “steal” data, or rather, implement file theft using detected vulnerabilities. 🦜

According to official documentation, Bjorn is designed to work with the Raspberry Pi Zero W or Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. While it supports both the old and new Pi Zero models, wireless support is required. That said, we have seen evidence from other creators who have managed to get Bjorn working on a Raspberry Pi 3B+. Infinition recommends connecting the Pi to a 2.13-inch e-Ink display hat from Waveshare for visual output.

If you're excited about this creation — and you should be! — I have good news for you. Infinition has decided to make the project completely open source, so you can recreate it at home with your own Raspberry PiIf you want to see more about how it works and play with it first hand, you can visit the official Bjorn project page at GitHub. 👩‍💻

This is definitely one of the most unique Raspberry Pi projects we've come across. It's great to see something so useful with such a fun interface. However, it's important to note that the tools provided by Bjorn should be used seriously and are intended for ethical hacking purposes. Do not use this tool for illegal or immoral activities. 🚫
