Lock Threshold in Windows 11: Change the Limit Quickly and Easily! 🔒⚡

If you're using Windows, you're probably aware that it automatically locks your account after several failed login attempts. By default, in Windows 11, your account is locked if someone enters the wrong password or PIN 10 times in a row. 🔒

But the good news is that you can easily modify the account lockout threshold to increase or decrease the number of failed attempts allowed. You can set a value between 1 and 999 failed attempts, or set it to "0" to remove the lockout threshold altogether. 💪

1. Change the Account Lockout Threshold via the Group Policy Editor

This method uses the Local Group Policy Editor to change the account lockout threshold. Here are some simple steps to follow. ➡️

1. Click on Windows 11 search and type Local Group Policy Editor.

Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Account Policies > Account Lockout Policy

navigate to the next route
