Before making any changes to Spotify's playback settings, it's worth checking something simple: your device's volume. I've lost count of how many times I thought an app was crashing, only to find the volume was low.

If you're on a Windows PC, click the volume icon in the system tray and turn it all the way up. On a smartphone, press the volume button and make sure the slider is all the way up. Sometimes the easiest fix is the most overlooked. 🔊

The Spotify desktop app has a different sound profile; it features a volume control you can adjust. 🔄
