Comparison: What is the best laptop of 2022? – The best laptops of 2022.

1.

Huawei MateBook 14s (2021) – The most remarkable laptop

The best laptops of 2022 01

  • Pros
    • Lots of capacity and ports
    • Amazing keyboard
    • 90Hz display
    • Advanced Webcam
  • Cons
    • Easy design
    • Thunderbolt 4 only on high specs
    • Webcam only 720p

The MacBook 14s, an advanced version of the equally incredible MateBook 14, is one of the most complete laptops on the market, especially now that the webcam is back on top of the screen and not on the keyboard.

True, it's only 720p, but it works with the Windows operating system Hello. The MateBook 14s is amazing in virtually every department, being able to get it with a processor up to i7 (H series) and 16GB of RAM.

In addition to this, it has a 2.5K display that provides a refresh rate 90Hz. It also has quite a few ports, although it's a shame that Thunderbolt 4 is only available on the higher end models. premium and there are other manufacturers that do offer it.

2.

MacBook Air (M1) – Best MacBook

MacBook Air with M1 (2020)

  • Pros
    • Powerful elements
    • Durable battery
    • iOS Apps
  • Cons
    • Limited ports
    • High performance

The MacBook Air may look just like its predecessor, but that's not the case when you look inside.

The most important change is the replacement of the 10nm Intel chip with the 5nm M1 chip, which is much more powerful, faster and faster, especially in video editing and in the gaming.

It's much faster than many Intel-based Windows laptops, and delivers a lot beyond being the cheapest entry-level laptop out there. Apple. There is also a optimization important in battery and screen.

Does not use fans, which makes it super discreet, but it could harm its performance so that it does not overheat. In this sense, it may be better to bet on the MacBook Pro with M1 if you are going to be modifying for several hours.

3.

LG gram 17 (2021) – Best 17″ laptop

LG gram 17 (2021)

  • Pros
    • Impressively fast
    • Good battery
    • Amazing screen
  • Cons
    • Soft keyboard
    • McAfee pop-ups

We thought that LG couldn't make the LG gram 17 successful, but in 2021 it did and it got everything right.

It's an impressively fast piece of engineering and now has an even more attractive design. It seems that LG has listened to us and has also improved the speakers and the trackpad.

This portable It also has incredible battery life, it has Thunderbolt 4 and it has an incredible display. It's not touch-sensitive, but there are those who prefer it.

It is, undoubtedly, the portable 17″ reference, although LG also has the gram 16 in case you want something similar but smaller and cheaper.

4.

Dell XPS 15 – Best 15.6” Laptop

Dell XPS 15 9500 (2020)

  • Pros
    • Nice screen
    • Lots of capacity
    • Good battery
  • Cons
    • Shallow keyboard
    • Cooling system
    • Expensive

It is possible that we have not finished seducing your webcam and have not established the right technology HDR, but this is of little relevance when you consider everything else this Dell laptop with a 4K display offers.

Those who are trying to find a laptop Windows 15” strong, you will need to keep this XPS 15 in mind. You won’t find anything better on the market: well made, solid, and incredible performance.

Sure, it's expensive, but not as much as you might think with what you'll get in return. Of course, we don't recommend spending that much if you're going to buy the entry-level model. Spend a little more and avoid the graphic card inside.

5.

Huawei MateBook D 14 – Best value for money

Huawei MateBook D 14

  • Pros
    • Incredible value for money
    • Incredible elements
    • Fast charging
  • Cons
    • Uncertain webcam
    • A single USB-C
    • Brightness with limit

Beyond being a standard quality laptop, Huawei could not have done better with the Huawei MateBook D 14, which looks like a computer premium to each and every scenario. It's fast, easy to transport, and very strong, which is hard to beat at this price.

It has some internal elements AMD which are the envy of models that cost about the same. While it is not considered a laptop gaming, the truth is that its Radeon Vega 8 graphics are going to be ideal for games as Fortnite and Rocket League.

As if this were not enough, the Huawei MateBook D 14 has a battery life of one day. The results of benchmarks give much more than ten hours. Its 65W fast charge means that you can charge the battery to 43 % in just half an hour.

6.

HP Envy 13 (2021) – Best Value Core i5 Laptop

HP Envy 13 (2021)

  • Pros
    • Magnificent screen
    • Solid battery and agility
    • Nice design
    • Discreet keyboard
  • Cons
    • No HDMI or Thunderbolt
    • The model with i7 is expensive
    • Disappointing trackpad

The HP Envy 13 looks decent, has a splendid display, and solid everyday computing power in its Core i5 version. It also has a keyboard solid and decent battery life. In many ways, it's an incredible everyday ultraportable.

HP's flagship laptop has been one of our favorites for years, but the 2021 model has taken a downgrade and the 2020 model is now hard to find.

It's still a great laptop and is affordably priced unless you're looking for the i7 SKU, and you might not like the lack of HDMI and Thunderbolt either. You can find beefier designs elsewhere and better trackpads, too.

7.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 – Best Laptop for Continuous Use

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7

  • Pros
    • Multipurpose design
    • Good information
    • Good connectivity
  • Cons
    • Without scanner fingerprints

It may not have a fingerprint sensor or a port Ethernet, but the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 has far more pros than cons.

With this laptop, you will have most of the things you need at an affordable price. It is fast and easy to carry as the name suggests, although it does not have the hinge 360 degrees like several Yoga models.

You can choose between Intel processors or AMD, a decent display, solid battery, Dolby Atmos speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and much more. Overall, it's a great value for money.

8.

Acer Swift 5 – Better portability

Acer Swift 5 (SF514-54T)

  • Pros
    • Impressively fast
    • Strong performance
    • Thunderbolt 4
  • Cons
    • Mediocre speakers
    • Loud fans

Acer continues to impress us with the Swift 5, an incredible laptop that, overall, is hard to beat.

It's not as cheap as the previous version, but the Acer Swift 5 is impressively solid and fast. It is still equally premium and offers a decent selection of ports, including Thunderbolt 4.

It does not have the most outstanding keyboard nor the most outstanding speakers, but the screen is advanced and the performance is solid and it has an impressive battery life.

9.

Microsoft Surface Notebook 4 – The best built laptop

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4

  • Pros
    • Amazing screen
    • Solid performance
    • Good battery
  • Cons
    • Loud fans
    • Limited ports
    • Quite expensive premium models

Little changed with this Microsoft and the truth is that it was not bad that they had redesigned it, but the Surface Notebook 4 is a very good option for those who want to get a laptop.

The fans can be a bit loud, but the performance provided is solid whether using a chip AMD and Intel. The battery is also good and both the quality screen and the keyboard offer a good experience.

However, the models of range high-end models are very expensive. We would also have liked to see models with an OLED panel or optional LTE connectivity.

10.

Dell XPS 13 – Best Keyboard

Dell XPS 13 9310

  • Pros
    • Premium construction
    • Incredible performance
    • Amazing keyboard
  • Cons
    • Limited ports
    • Expensive
    • It may overheat

The XPS 13 used to be the undisputed king of the ultrabooks, but the competition has stepped up its game and Dell is no longer able to keep up. Now, that doesn't mean the 2020 Dell XPS 13 isn't still worth the money, and quite a bit (albeit expensive).

In fact, its beautiful 16:10 display and having the best keyboard you can find means it's worth keeping in mind especially if you're looking for a ultrabook WindowsIts problems are few ports, heating problems and a high price.

As we said, it's not about a bad laptop: the XPS 13 is a great device and also optimization in many ways compared to the previous edition. If you end up buying it, you'll probably love it, but its flaws make it not the best of the year.

11.

Huawei MateBook X Pro (2021) – The most luxurious

Huawei MateBook X Pro

  • Pros
    • 11th Gen Intel Chips
    • Very elegant design
    • Amazing trackpad
  • Cons
    • Below average battery
    • No option of GPU prudent
    • Webcam on the keyboard

We would like to see Huawei change the design of this laptop after using the same one for the last 4 years, especially because of the location of the webcam, which is on the keyboard.

Even so, the X Pro still has a very elegant look and build quality. premiumThe latest Intel chips are fast, the 3:2 screen is new and it has some of the best keyboards and trackpad.

Battery life could be better, and on top of that, there's no dedicated graphics card option. It's not as "Pro" as it once was, but it's still a great option for most customers.

12.

Asus ZenBook Duo – The ultimate multitasking laptop

Asus ZenBook Duo UX482 (2021)

  • Pros
    • Dual screen
    • Performance finished
    • Fast
  • Cons
    • Crowded keyboard
    • Small trackpad
    • Expensive

The ZenBook Duo's innovative hinge connects the two displays together, making it a nice setup if you're interested in the idea of having two displays without having to connect them.

It does allow for some multitasking once you get used to it. Performance is fine for most occasions and it also has decent battery life.

It's incredibly fast and portable considering it has 2 screens. The second screen has its consequences as it causes the keyboard and mouse to trackpad are much smaller.
