Android flying: speed up your phone 5x without apps 🛠️⚡

If you've been using your Android phone for a while, you've probably noticed that it's not running as fast as it used to. 🐢 This problem is quite common, and although it's often the result of normal battery wear, apps running in the background, necessary updates, or almost full storage, other times it's The reason may simply be equipment wear and tear..

It's important to note that, over the months and years, mobile phones tend to accumulate temporary files, cache, and data fragmentation, which causes the device's overall performance to decrease significantly. 📉

When this happens, the user experience quickly begins to deteriorate. Apps take longer to open, multitasking becomes sluggish, and even basic tasks like texting or browsing the internet can become slow and frustrating. 😩

Therefore, it's vital to take action to restore your smartphone's fluidity, especially if you've already tried the most common solutions, such as clearing the cache, uninstalling games or streaming platform apps you no longer use, or even resetting your phone to factory settings.

The secret Android menu to improve performance 🔧

You may not know it, but Android has a secret menu, hidden by default, that allows you to modify certain advanced operating system settings. This is called Developer Options and offers very useful tools to improve the overall performance of your device. 🚀

Although its name suggests it's only for programming experts, you don't need to be a pro to take advantage of some of its simplest and most effective tweaks!

To enable these options on your mobile, go to Settings and look for the section called Phone information or About the device. Once inside, locate the section Build number and press on it seven times in a row. By doing so, You will see a message indicating that developer options have been activated. 🎉

Developer Options

Now you will have enabled in the section System a new section called Developer OptionsWithin this section, there's a very specific setting that can significantly improve your phone's fluidity without the need to install additional apps or perform complicated procedures.

This setting is called DrawingHere you will find three different scales: Window Animation Scale, Transition Animation Scale and Animation duration scaleThese animations are what you see when you open, close, or switch between apps, as well as when you navigate through menus or screens.

Although these animations are meant to provide a smooth and pleasant visual experience, they are also They consume important resources of your smartphone, especially if it's an older or low-performance model. Therefore, disabling them significantly frees up operating system resources, allowing your phone to run faster and smoother.

To apply this tip, simply click on each of these scales and choose the option Animation disabledBy doing so, you'll immediately notice that your phone responds much more quickly to every touch, app launch, or menu transition. 🎉

  • Return to the main menu of Settings.
  • Enter System and look for the new menu Developer Options.
  • Scroll down until you find the section called Drawing.
  • Here you will see the three options: Window Animation Scale, Transition Animation Scale and Animation duration scale.
  • Click on each one and select the option Animation disabled.
Android's secret menu to improve performance

Please note that, By disabling animations, you'll also lose some of the visual smoothness you're used to experiencing in the interface. We suggest you try it for a few days and see if the speed and performance improvements make up for the loss of those aesthetic animations. 🤔

Remember that there are other tricks you can implement to keep your Android phone running smoothly. For example, make sure you keep the operating system updated, free up storage space regularly, avoid cluttering your device with too many unnecessary apps, and, above all, clear your app cache frequently. 📦

Also, check the apps running in the background, as they can consume valuable resources without you even noticing, slowing down your phone's performance and quickly draining your battery. You can do this from the settings menu or by using special tools that manage these processes, optimizing your device's battery life and speed. ⚙️

Finally, remember to restart your phone from time to time. Although it may seem like a simple thing to do, restarting the operating system every few days helps close hidden processes and free up RAM, resulting in better performance and stability. By applying these tips regularly, you'll enjoy a much smoother and more satisfying experience with your Android device. 📲
