How to force 4G LTE only mode on Android.

Android devices allow you to choose your network settings between 2G/3G, 2G/3G/4G, or 2G/3G/4G/5G. You must select the second or third option to use the 4G network. Modern Android smartphones support 4G and even 5G, but they do not have a dedicated mode exclusively for 4G.

The problem is that you phone will switch network modes every few minutes If you live in an area with a weak network signal, it will automatically switch to the strongest network based on your location to provide better calling and SMS features.

Although automatic switching between networks is useful because you do not need to manually scan and select the available network, it has its drawbacks.

Force LTE Only is another great app that can force your Android phone to use only 4G network. This allows you to switch between 4G, 3G or 2G networks and stay on the chosen network.

Setting up the app is also very easy: install, open, and select LTE from the Preferred Network Type drop-down menu.

Code to Force Only 4G LTE

A USSD code allows you to activate 4G-only network mode on selected Android devices. There are 4G Only Network Mode Codes for Samsung, Realme, Huawei and other smartphone brands.

For example, the 4G only code for OnePlus device is *#*#4636#*#*. You need to open your dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#*. Dialing the code will give you access to Engineering Mode. You need to set 4G or LTE only in the settings red preferred.

Similarly, there is no 4G-only network mode code for Samsung devices. You have to rely on the app we have shared to switch to a 4G-only network.

The universal 4G only network code for Realme, Huawei, etc., is *#*#4636#*#*USSD codes also depend on your telecom provider. If none of the codes work, you should use the first method.

Here's how you can force 4G LTE-only mode on phones Android without root. If you need any help, let us know in the comments below.
