Atomfall's Best Abilities: Top 5 Revealed! 🔥
The best skills of Atomfall They aren't obtained in the conventional way. Despite being an action-survival RPG, there are no experience points to earn or skill points to spend. Theoretically, you could play Atomfall without acquiring a single skill. So, how do skills work in Atomfall, and which are the best ones to obtain? 🤔
To acquire skills, you must first find Training Stimuli, an item usually found in BARD crates, and sometimes as loot on the ground, shelves, and the like. Each of these is, essentially, a skill point that you can spend on any available skill. However, to unlock those skills in the first place, you must also find Training Manuals, which reveal three skills each, depending on the category they belong to. Got it? So here are the best skills in Atomfall, followed by a full list of all of them. 💪
Atomfall Ability – Gunsmith
You probably won't get this for a while, because the training manual you need can be found in the village of Wyndham. But once you get the Creation manual, which you can get from Morris Wick at the hardware store in exchange for your silence about a… incident, you will be able to unlock Gunsmith for the modest sum of six Training Stimulants.
Gunsmith It allows you to upgrade your weapons, meaning you can finally get rid of those rusty weapons you've been using up until now. Any two identical weapons can be combined to upgrade their quality to standard, and then do the same again to bring them to flawless. As you progress through the game, having more powerful weapons will be a huge help. 🔫
Atomfall Ability – Recovery
Recovery It's an ability that's available from the start of the game, and it only costs you five Training Stims. Its operation is simple: your health will regenerate faster when you're low on health. While Strength It is also useful because it increases your maximum health, Recovery It will help you in those difficult combat situations where you're fighting for your life. 🩹
Atomfall Ability – Healing Enhancement
Similarly, Healing Enhancement It's also a huge benefit, especially on higher difficulties (or Playstyles, as Atomfall calls them). This causes healing consumables—bandages, food, etc.—to restore more health over time. 🍲
However, this requires two things: four Training Stimulants and the Experimental Inoculation, which can be found in the Forgotten Cellar under St. Catherine's Church. How to get in? Well, you'll have to read our guide on how to open the Forgotten Cellar door in Atomfall to find out.
Atomfall Ability – Silent Takedown
As mentioned in our top tips for Atomfall, stealth is your friend, but without skills, it's quite difficult to execute effectively. Silent Movement It is a recommended skill because it reduces the sound of your footsteps, but even more importantly, Silent Removal Muffles the sound of your takedowns, which is when you get up close to an enemy and knock them out with one hit. 🥷
For both skills, you'll need to acquire the Stealth Training Manual, which you can purchase from Molly Jowett, the shopkeeper in Slatten Dale. If you haven't found it yet, orient yourself as if you're leaving Wyndham and heading toward the Slatten Dale region, then turn right and follow the wall until you see a cloud of smoke rising from a ruined house. You'll find it inside.
Atomfall Ability – Radiation Resistance
Finally, another skill that requires Experimental Inoculation and four Training Stimulants is Radiation Resistance. Taking the Experimental Inoculation automatically grants you Resistance to Infections, but you'll have to spend your precious Training Boosters to get them. Radiation Resistance. ☢️
This does exactly what it says: it provides resistance to all sources of radiation. Radiation is found more frequently the deeper you go into Atomfall, so acquiring this as soon as possible is a smart move.
