Free games for PC have become a fundamental field, both for players, for programmers and publishers.
I clearly remember that, a few years ago, free games were, with few exceptions, "third category" titles, of very low quality and with horribly bad gameplay.
This panorama has progressed over the years, and today we are able to find free games that have nothing to envy any triple A currently.

Ideally, these micro payments are, mostly aesthetic, and that they do not introduce payment innovations that end up unbalancing the gameplay.
What I'm trying to say is that it's possible to offer game-changing content for a price, like Guild Wars 2, where you can buy boosters for real money, but it doesn't create gameplay imbalances.
In the end, the essential thing is that, that the player who wants to enjoy those video game free do not feel discriminated against for not considering assuming any micro payment, that you see that you can find things just by playing, and that you can continue and entertain yourself without restriction generated directly, or indirectly, by those micro payments.
Which is exactly what makes it difficult to sift through the free games that are truly worthwhile, and distinguish them from those that are not.

Some of the best action MMO games are based on space and they look amazing thanks to their great technical aspects, as well as being acceptably optimized.
In its free mode, it offers a lot of content, although the last changes that Bungie made were not to my liking (the removal of an important part of the story mode, and of certain areas that could be explored).

This was one of the great discoveries I made recently.
I like to look at and rate the free games that come out, and Let it Die is one of the best of its kind.
This title is a kind of mix of Dark Souls and Code Vein in terms of gameplay and aesthetics.
This combination works wonderfully, managing to shape a game with an incredible setting, a really well-resolved gameplay that will put our skills to the test, and an attractive story with a very pronounced and rewarding plot.

3.-Path of Exile
Between the games action paper with isometric view much more popular and much more esteemed than there are.

This game also stands out as one of the best free games with a well-established microtransaction system; these don't affect the gameplay and are really well done, with enough content to keep you busy.

Of all the free games on this list, this is probably my favorite.
I started playing it in 2012, when it first came out as a paid game, and the truth is that I have never stopped playing it.
It's an MMO-type game, that is, a massive online role-playing game that actually deviates quite a bit from the original, but that's not a bad thing because in the end we quickly get used to the changes and realize how much fun it is.
Despite the time it carries behind it, it provides a really good technical finish, and has a lot of content to suggest.
Micro payments are primarily aesthetic, except for a few exceptions, so we will be able to play it without problems although we do not want to spend money.
Despite this, the title is so good, and receives such high-quality support, that you will feel compelled to give the developers a little money.
I think it's a game that needs no introduction because, for many, it's the quintessential MOBA.
It also continues to be among the much more popular games in the world of electronic sports, and the truth is that Riot Games has known how to update it over time to prevent it from losing its charm.
It is another of the free games that can best be played without the need to carry out any type of expense, now that the only thing that matters is the ability of the player, but in the end we depend a lot on our device companions, and this causes that in Several times it can be disappointing, especially if we get toxic members, something that, unfortunately, abounds in the social network.
With everything, It is very entertaining and recommended.

The opportunity to choose between various types of soldiersUsing different weapons and driving multiple cars gives it a very interesting role-playing touch, and in a longer lifespan, since when we get tired of one type of soldier we will be able to try another.
Enjoyable even without making micro payments, so it is a good option, and it is also very accessible at the hardware level.

9.-Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

10.-Star Wars: The Old Republic
This is one of the older titles on this list of free games, having been released in 2011.
This is noticeable in everything related to its technical aspects, and yes, there are things that could be improved graphically, but it is a real delight for fans of the franchise, both for its gameplay and its setting.
This game has a lot of content and an MMO-style approach that can keep you busy for a long time. As I said, it's technically outdated, but it still works fine, and this has one big advantage: it doesn't require powerful hardware.
A first-person shooter that entered essential creations in the Battle Royale genre, and which achieved enormous popularity in a very competitive field.
This was possible thanks to its incredible technical invoice, its fabulous gameplay and its careful cast of players, but also to the successful system of micro payments.
At the hardware level it is quite demanding, but it scales well if we configure it in low graphic quality, something essential if our device has partially old or weak hardware, while the essential thing here will be fluidity, given its competitive approach.

This is probably one of the least popular free games we've collected on this list, and it's a shame knowing its quality and all that it brings to the table, especially in terms of technology.
It is one of the best free simulators I have tried.
The game's graphics are pretty good, but its physics is undoubtedly its most prominent feature.
It is very realistic and the steering wheel and pedals are quite enjoyable.
It is not very demanding on the hardware, although it lacks content.
Still, if you like the genre, you should give it a shot.

17. Brawlhalla
A fighting game with 2D interfaces and a very careful personal design.
It is not a flourish on a technical level, but it has known how to mold, in its own way, the essence of Super Smash Bros., and thanks to this it gives hours and hours of carefree fun and without adversity, although thanks to the «ranked» mode you will also be able to «take it seriously».
This is another of the free games that has best known how to adopt the micro-payment model, since everything we have the possibility of obtaining with real money has effects only cosmetic products.
Nothing will affect the gameplay, so we should not be concerned about this issue. It is also very accessible at the hardware level.

Who was and who wasn't? That is the magic of the game, and yes, it is very entertaining, and also quite attractive from a technical point of view.
The graphic quality of The Deceit is remarkable thanks to the use of CryEngine, although this has a drawback that you can already imagine, and that is that this first-person multiplayer action title has somewhat high requirements for what is typical in the world of the free games.

If you like the Fallout universe, you will love this game.

I have loved that this list of free games for PC was as much different as possible, and for this reason I have also included this first person fishing emulator, a game that is precisely intended for a smaller audience than the other titles we looked at, but provides good enough value to be worth our time, especially if fishing appeals to us.
It gives countless content, it has a well-resolved technical section, a true approach, so much so that the fish have their AI system (artificial intelligence), and employs an advanced physics and weather system that allows the two perpetrators to have a notable clash in gameplay.

We are dealing with an open planet type massive action role-playing game that follows in the footsteps of other very popular games, such as Black Desert, to serve as an example.
It is a visual delight, and the artistic direction is just as careful. I have tried it and I can say that it is dynamic, accessible, surprising and a lot of fun from the beginning.
Micro payments do not break the balance of the gameplay, they are purely aesthetic for the most part, but we must take into consideration that it is one of those games that needs many hours to reach much higher stages, and also a sensibly strong device to work in the best way.

It has certain restrictions, but it is quite worth it, since it will give us hours of fun without the need to spend a penny.

Progress our tourism with innovative weapons and equipment will be essential to get out of those fights alive, and we will also be able to customize it to offer it a unique touch.
This game is very entertaining, with good graphics and microtransactions that don't interfere with gameplay.

This title gave me conflicting experiences at the beginning, but the truth is that in the end I ended up liking it, and quite a lot, more than anything because of the incredible setting it has, and because of the options it provides when examining the different levels of the colossal open planet that is in front of us.
It is not special, in truth it has several things to prosper, but this kind of cross between STALKER and Metro has a lot of potential, and an MMORPG approach with touches of survival that will not leave you indifferent, especially if you enjoy the genre.

I think it requires no introduction, as it is among the most popular games today, and also among the most frequented.

An emulator that is very well made and works well in all scenarios, from the technical part to the gameplay, with impressive realism in the design of the planes and the interiors of the cockpit.
At the gameplay level it is rigorous, but also very rewarding.
The free version is a bit limited, but it's worth it Well, as I said, its technical invoice is incredible, and it gives such a good level of realism that it will make the delicacies even of the most rigorous players.

Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Earth is a 2D fighting game that stays true to the roots of the series, while introducing some new gameplay mechanics. In addition, it has greatly improved graphics and technical performance.
